So I’ve resurrected my “Gotham Abbey” tumblr - a mash-up of Downton Abbey photos with Dark Knight/Batman movie captions.
When she talks about some of her stranger theories, you just listen. She told us in Santa Fe, there were UFOs up in the mountains and the bears were coming down to visit the local Starbucks as a result. I asked if they were all drinking skinny green lattes, but she never answered me.

I developed this with Roommate, it’s basically a mash-up of Downton Abbey scenes with Batman/Dark Knight movie quotes.
During the course of making this, I pleasantly discovered Maggie Smith is a perfect match for Ahnold’s Mr. Freeze zingers.
So being a geek, I took a quiz to determine what Dungeons and Dragons alignment I was. And apparently I’m a True Neutral, just like these characters from my four favorite TV shows - the Dowager Countess of Grantham, April Ludgate, Tyrion Lannister and Abed Nadir.
This explains why:
- I like dogs AND cats.
- My favorite time of day is sunset.
- I’m a brunch guy.
- The Tea Party and Occupy movements both annoy me.
- I’m spiritual but ambivalent toward organized religion.
- I hate drivers and bicyclists equally. And don’t get me started on those damned pedestrians…
- Neil Diamond? I could take him or leave him.
- I got soul, but I’m not a soldier.
My roommate and I are having a blast with the podcast we’re doing. The next topics will center on Hillary Clinton (we’re both avid Hillzphiles) and Downton Abbey.

This week we’re dining with cockroaches to keep the peace. Kiyoshi regrets his trip to buy sugary, glazed baked goods and Deremy wonders what posesses people — people of means! — to dive into dumpsters.
Both Deremy and Kiyoshi are obsessed with “Game of Thrones” (despite the fact winter never seems to come) and Prince Tyrion’s adventures. But we can’t decide who wants to slap Joffrey more.
And finally, we explore the problems with finding good hair folk to trim your lucious locks, emergency Plan B for haircuts and if you should ever confront a man who holds a pair of knives at your scalp.
